Fresh and frozen, one delivery
Frozen goods, fresh pizzas, bakery, sausages, burgers, black pudding and haggis — all on the same van.
John Carr & Son has supplied fish & chip shops in the west of Scotland for over 45 years. Three generations on, it is run by the same family — and the people who plan the runs are the people you speak to when you call.
A fish & chip shop runs to a rhythm — prep, service, restock, repeat. We have spent decades building our deliveries around that rhythm rather than asking shops to work around ours.
It started as a small operation supplying a handful of local shops. Today we run two established delivery routes and supply more than 100 shops across Glasgow, Renfrewshire, Ayrshire and Lanarkshire — most of them week in, week out.
What has not changed is how you deal with us. There is no call centre and no account portal. You ring, you speak to the family, and the order gets sorted.

Two established runs on a set rhythm, so your stock arrives when you expect it.
Ask about a product and you’ll get a real answer from someone who knows the trade — not a ticket number.
Start with what you need. Add lines as you go. We’re already at your door either way.

If your shop is anywhere in the west of Scotland, get in touch. We'll tell you whether we're already on your street and what happens next.
